Our casual sessions give you a taste of our training style, our coaches' expertise, and the supportive environment we offer.

Before you join our Farm Strong Sessions, we’ll need to guide you through an onboarding process.

This ensures you know exactly what to expect, how to participate effectively, and how to confidently navigate the farm strong sessions.


TIMETABLE

FARM STRONG SESSIONS - 60 mins

Our 60 minute Farm Strong group sessions build foundational skills, balance and strengthen the body while developing mental resilience in an epic environment. You will learn how to move load safely, and work within a team to strengthen your own confidence as a leader.

“Be strong to be useful”, the famous quote from ‘Georges Hébert’, helps set a framework to add to your “why” as you build upon the strengths you already possess. Our everyday lives are vastly different, yet we all benefit from using ‘Farm Strong’ qualities to create our ultimate self with real, applicable life skills.

In the footsteps of farmers – we each strive to be strong to be useful.

STRIDES - 60 mins

Our 60 minute Strides session will support all runners in any stage of their running journey. The sessions are tailored with running specific skills and techniques as well as getting the volume in with a wonderful community. The session’s are held on and off The Farm - so it’s best to check in with the location for that day. Casual pass available

RABBIT HOLE - 60 mins

This workout is a special Friday tradition here at The Farm Gym. Our Rabbit Hole workouts are aimed at building strength and resilience for the individual as a part of a team. In these epic sessions you will experience first hand how to build a strategy, implement that plan with your team and work hard together to try and win the Rabbit for the day.

These sessions have stemmed from the creative programming experiences that Coach Luke had while working for the American Survivor TV series building and programming challenges for the contestants. If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s like working on similar tasks towards an objective, these sessions will put you right in the Hot Seat.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT - Casuals welcome book via the above time table - 60 mins

Our Functional Movement class is a ground-based bodyweight strength class, designed to challenge all fitness levels. This training method will improve your strength, power, flexibility, mobility, and coordination all whilst being in a fun-filled team environment.

The functional movement philosophy is to embrace the challenge of bodyweight movements both as an individual and as a community with others. If you’re someone who is looking to either:

  • Improving their general fitness or;

  • Seeking out something new and fun with a competitive edge or;

  • Building new friendships within the Farm Gym community;

    This class is for you! 

You will encounter a range of class styles as they are designed to focus on different themes every 3 weeks. These include things like team drills, creative play, timed circuits, competitive games, chaos training and animal flows just to name a few.

Specific benefits that one can experience from our Functional Movement classes are:

WEDNESDAY OUTDOOR OBSTACLE COURSE TRAINING - Casuals welcome book via the above timetable - 60 mins

Imagine if you could train on your very own ‘Spartan’ or ‘Tough Mudder’ course…. well now you can!! All the fun of tackling epic obstacles (our obstacle designer also built and designed obstacles for the American Survivor series!!) without the line ups!

Build your skills on monkey bars, climbing ropes, balance beams, running, heavy carries, tyre flips and learn to move smoothly through any obstacle you may face.These sessions are designed for any fitness level from seasoned OC racers to first-timers. Our coaches can scale the movements or obstacles for you to ensure you get the most out of every session.

SATURDAY OUTDOOR OBSTACLE COURSE TRAINING - Casuals welcome book via the above time table - 1.5 hours

This is where The Farm Gym shines!!! Together, we embrace the outdoors in all its glory focusing on team-based challenges that see us venture out onto the obstacle course to go head to head against ourselves or each other. There is true magic in these sessions as the objectives are usually simple but the journey is a path to greatness for everyone.

KIDS ZONE - AVAILABLE FOR ALL SESSIONS - Apart from Wednesday 5pm

A time when you can bring your young children to the gym and train. Kids zone is a small space for young children to watch and learn from their parents. Be the leader in their eye’s. Kids zone is parent supervised area near where you train so if you need to attend to your little ones because they need cuddles, are hungry or need to go to the toilet, you can look after them then jump back into your session. If you wish to bring along snacks please only pack fruit, veggies or protein for them to eat here at the gym.

LONGEVITY STRENGTH SESSION- Casuals welcome book via the above time table - 45 mins

This is an incredible opportunity to get personalised coaching to build your confidence through balance and strength. Maintain and build functional ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders. Increase cardiovascular health and connect. Fridays 3:30 pm - $15 - cash welcomed.

CRECHE - Available Saturdays - $5 per child for members only.
